I’m an award-winning copywriter, editor and proofreader based in Baltimore who’s written practically everything, including collateral, websites, social media posts, news articles, taglines, e-mails, print advertising, and broadcast.
As a graduate of Towson University with a degree
in visual communications, I started out as a graphic designer and found myself rewriting copy to fit my layouts and realized that I enjoyed stringing words together rather than typesetting them. I was the second employee at what grew to be Baltimore’s biggest ad agency and then spent several years
on the client side, giving me a kind of fresh perspective on the needs of both.
I decided to spread my wings and fly freelance in 2005, and have steadily built a network of small advertising firms, in-house marketing departments, and individual graphic designers with whom I work ... and I’m always looking for new partners.
So if you're interested in collaborating with someone who's imaginative, flexible, easygoing, fast, and a stickler for consistency with a personality politely described as "unique", then I'm your gal.
And, when I’m not grumbling over the proper usage of apostrophes, I like to travel anywhere, obsessively work on the New York Times crossword, indulge in all things British and kitschy and Elvis, listen to my two cats purr, squeeze my lab mix (she loves it), and laugh with my husband and son.
